Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a full-time hourly position supporting sales teams, customers and vendors. Perform, organize, and streamline operational tasks to reduce the potential for errors. Monitor for problems, taking immediate action where possible and escalating when required.
ESSENTIAL TASKS:

Direct interaction and assistance with outside sales team via email and phone.
Support of outside sales team in the form of researching, order monitoring and tracking.
Direct customer interaction via email and phone.
Direct vendor interaction via email and phone.
Purchase order / sales order creation.
Update customer reports in regard to lead times and expectations

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Communicate with operations management team, sales team, customers, vendors; read and interpret professional materials.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written to work with a diverse workforce.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, suppliers and customers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift up to 50 pounds.

REQUIREMENTS:

Two year degree or certificate in related field preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Self-starter with excellent communication skills
Proficient in Excel
Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP)
