Job Description : Los Angeles Unified School District(LAUSD) Job Opportunity
Where:

Camp Skyhook at Clear Creek Outdoor Education Center, Angeles National Forest (30 minutes from Glendale and Pasadena)

Duties include:

Supervise LAUSD elementary students during their weekend visit to science camp in the mountains! Camp Skyhook provides overnight science adventure outings for elementary, middle and high school students throughout the school year.
Lead team building activities, games, crafts, songs, and skits

Work Hours:

3-day/2-night shift: Fri 4 p.m. to Sun 1 p.m.
Counselors sleep in student cabins both nights (they essentially “live” on site for the weekend)

Compensation / Benefits:

Instructors are paid 24 hours each weekend at about $18/per hour

Qualifications and Expectations:

Minimum 18 years old and high school graduate or GED
Able to pass FBI and DOJ background checks; willing to be TB tested
Experience working with children is helpful but not necessary(will be trained)
Access to consistent, reliable transportation
Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 per LAUSD requirements.
