The Photographer is responsible for producing high quality digital images of products and models as well as assisting the Photographers/Sr. Photographers during their photo shoots. The photographer is also tasked with keeping the photo studio organized, accessible and safe for all Photography staff.
Responsibilities:
Photograph products and/or models to be used on Forever 21’s E-Commerce site
Arrange still life objects, products, props, and backgrounds in order to create the desired photographic effect
Upload photos on the same day when taking photo shoots with models
Pin, arrange, shape products on tables and boards in a way that will effectively showcase the item
Ensure a high level of technical quality and aesthetics for all photography created and distributed
Provide creative support to other Photographers on complex assignments
Provide photographic support for corporate initiatives/projects such as the corporate newsletter by photographing new employees
Organize the photography studio so that all props and equipment are quickly and safely accessible
Maintain photography equipment by providing basic, routine maintenance on cameras, lenses, etc.
Qualifications:
BFA in Photography or equivalent experience in digital studio photography required
Must have 3+ years of work experience as a digital photographer in a studio environment in which studio lighting was utilized; Previous consumer product advertising experience required
Must have working knowledge of Canon EOS digital cameras
Must be proficient with Macintosh OSX operating system, Photoshop, Profoto , and Lightroom
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and 10+ hours on certain days to meet the needs of the business
Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
