Job Description : About Company: ZeroPlast Labs is an innovation-driven, sustainable materials company, developing 100% biodegradable (home compostable) alternatives to single-use, non-recyclable plastics.The startup is a spinoff from CSIR National Chemical Laboratory and is backed by the Government of India and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.Find more details about the company on www.zeroplastlabs.comRequired QualificationsMSc + 2 Years of Experience or PhD in Polymer Chemistry or Polymer Engineering DomainDesired QualificationsSignificant research contributions in fundamental and applied aspects of polymer synthesis, characterization, processing, testing, and research in new applications in the polymer domain as evident by publications in reputed national/international journals as the first author, and/or patents/patent applications in the following areas.The candidates having experience in Product Development/ Technology Innovation/Applied Technology/Industrial Experience etc. will be preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate is expected to independently plan, develop and execute R&D projects and conduct experiments for synthesis, formulation development, process development, processing, characterization, and testing of biodegradable/recyclable polymeric materials for applications in packaging and allied areas.Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹360,000.00 – ₹1,200,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftEducation:Master’s (Required)Experience:Polymer Science: 3 years (Required)
