Job Description : Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
Essential Function 1: Payables Operations Management
1 Receive, investigate and register/ post incoming invoices with or without a purchase order
2 Ensure timely processing of the invoices and thus timely payments
3 Invoice clarification including interaction with purchasers, requisitions and/ or vendors
4 Perform other duties as requested by Accounts Payable Team Lead
5 Recognize and communicate potential issues to responsible team leader in case of necessity
6 Contributes ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of processes within area of influence
7 Understand and apply procure to pay processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards
Essential Function 2: Relationship Management
1 Maintain positive work relationships with members of other teams in the GBS to whom information is provided or from whom information is received
2 Interface with other SSC teams to ensure compliance with cross-team responsibilities
Requirements
Education:
Graduate in CommerceDesirable: Business educationAccounting education is a plus; desirable: degree in accounting
Business experience:
Essential: 1-2 years experience in accountingEssential: Basic Accounting ExperienceDesirable: SAP FI accounting experience, ideally in Accounts PayableDesirable: BPO Experience or shared services experienceDesirable: Working experience within a shared services center/BPO
