Roles and Responsibilities
Location : Kanjurmarg
Position Purpose
To manage & maintain multiple projects associated to various domain and technologies, coordinating with business to understand requirement and assisting team to build high level design, estimating resource, cost, & time of projects. Also periodically track and report project progress to stakeholder, mitigating risk encounter during project.

Responsibilities
Immense exposure in legacy SDLC as well as modern SDLC like (agile)
Must have full responsibility, accountability, and Head the Projects.
Must apply lessons learned, define roles and responsibilities, lead project planning and tracking.
Perform risk management, apply best practices, communicate to the project sponsor and team Leaders
Perform Project reviews.
Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans.
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
Manage the project plan and project team in order to support the timely completion of tasks, deliverables, and milestones.
Responsible for the tracking and implementing the deliverables as per the scope and project plan, while keeping the stakeholders up to date.
Lead the continued support for existing applications and applications currently in development.
Lead the Mobile Application Development team in the development of new mobile applications.
Actively manage resources, planning for projects, mentor technical team and train them on development practices.
Responsible for Managing the development and deployment of mobility applications on platforms such as iOS and Android.
Prepare project status reports.
Understands how the business operates and plans for future capacity requirements.
Input and hold responsibility for Capacity Planning budgets.
Assess existing capacity and develop operational plans and forecasts based on future plans for demand.
Manage deviations from the plan that have financial impact.
Set department objectives/KPIs and review ways in which to enhance the performance resources and add value.
Report of achievement of targets and identify any actions required. Monitor project progress and also co-ordinate activities.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope.
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
Make vital decisions and drive decision-making across projects.

Requirement study and discussions with team.

Monitor the day to day working of the projects to ensure delivery timelines are met.
Ensuring that business requirements and functional specifications for the module coded by the team are tested and fulfilled before the code is delivered for integration by performing Task and effort estimations upon the agreed scope.

Assist Business Analyst in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule.

Lead daily meetings, helping to facilitate communication and maximize productivity.

Competitor analysis and discuss ways to refine the way forward for our Mobile App.

Handling various technical aspects like coding of modules using the given design specification, debugging and fixing the defects as well as analyzing its root cause.
Document errors/crashes, provided resolutions and escalated as needed to resolve issues/roadblocks thus ensuring project deliverables are met on time.

Understanding & mapping client’s requirements/enhancements to the product; implement solutions that effectively resolve problems or provide improvement.

Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that all errors were tracked and reported to development and management teams.

Conducting the appraisals and identifying strengths, problem areas, and developing plans for improving performance.

Contributing Responsibilities

Integrated Project Plan to ensure alignment of resources.
Work closely with senior management and make sure that scope and direction of each projects is on schedule.
Review high level deliverables across Projects.

Technical & Behavioural Competencies

Concrete knowledge in Object Oriented Programming (OOPs)
Hands On experience on various technologies like .Net, Java Android, Java, Swift, Objective C etc
Mentor Team Leaders, Project Leads and keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts. Should have good leadership skills.
Should be able to organize time well, effective time management.
Analyze data on larger scale and make continuous improvements.
Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.
Highly skilled communicator with the ability to communicate complex concepts to others.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form and maintain strong relationships internally and externally and engage with stakeholders.
Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail skills
Project management skills.
Results orientated and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines and the ability to motivate others to deliver.
Specific Qualifications (if required)
B.E or any Master Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Project Management certifications like PMP, Prince2 will be an added advantage.
Atleast 12+ years of professional experience.
Atleast 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets.
Prior experience in a technical leadership position.
