WHAT YOUâLL DO:

At RealPage, we’ve fully embraced a microservice architecture to serve the millions of people who use and interact with our property management platform. We are looking for a driven, passionate individual interested in evolving our award winning software via automated, high performance software testing, collaborating across the disciplines of front-end development, back-end development, devops, product management, and user experience design.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write high quality automation code in a high-paced, sophisticated production environment.
Embrace and enhance patterns for our automation architecture and infrastructure.
Implement the standards of quality of the software we write via writing self-explanatory coded tests.
Collaborate with front end engineers, back end engineers, devops engineers, product managers, and user experience designers to influence our software design and architecture to be testable.
Develop and execute test cases, defects reporting and status reporting.
Involve in test cases and automation scripts review as a peer.
Work with developers to help reproduce issues and prioritize them.
Ultimately certify if a feature or defect is ready for production release.
Be responsible for the successful deployment and execution of our suite of tests across all levels of experimental, stable, and production environments.
Work in two-week sprints writing automation that tests existing and new features of the Buildium web app, mobile app, and API platforms using technologies like Appvance, Selenium, Mabl, etc.
Automation code, architecture, and infrastructure development with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability and reliability.
Monitor the Appvance/Selenium builds on a rotation base and fix them if there is a real issue on the code or escalate to developer if there is a real issue in application.
Be a positive influence on the team through design reviews, collaborating with other developers on the team, and ensuring adherence to coding and testing standards.
Work closely with technical leads and other stakeholders to develop project plans and participate in resource planning.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
3-4 Years of expericence
Deeply passionate about manual and automation testing using Selenium, JUnit, NUnit, Jasmine, etc.
Knowledge of the testing process and software testing life cycle
Detailed knowledge of Test scenarios/Test cases writing, Defect logging and tracking
Hands-on experience working with creating, consuming, and testing REST web services and APIs
Deeply experienced with Javascript, HTTP, HTML, CSS, APIs, REST
Have used and contributed to continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines
Hands-on experience with C#, JavaScript, Java, or other similar languages
Experience working with writing SQL queries and designing databases (MySql is a plus)
Have excellent communication skills
Have strong organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills
