Job Summary

This role is for an individual preferably from IT background with strong analytical, numerical/statistical skills. You will be involved in checking status of the Action items, collecting staffing requirements, Project Metrics data, preparing reports to be presented to top-level leadership of the team and also participate in governance calls.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

QMO:
Quality Management Office is a central unit which predominantly takes care of Resource supply / Demand & QA Metrics data of the projects across the TCOE
Engage with stakeholders of various projects and brief them about the current status of the project and collate Metrics data
Liaison with the team members (from WTW & Vendor side) to know more about the project & to assist the team in mitigating potential risks/ issues that may become bottleneck & hamper releases of the project
Engage with the QA managers to check on any resource requirement within the project and verify the hiring approvals
Collect the monthly metrics data from all the projects and check if all parameters are met for each project and are in sync with the team metrics and prepare metrics KPI report. Identify any blockers and speak with the stakeholders to resolve the blocker and to ensure smooth delivery of applications
Analyze the monthly production incident records for any P1 and P2 incidents and perform an RCA to mitigate the occurrence in future
Assist the onboarding of new joiners from WTW & Vendor side by providing them the necessary access and assets
Maintain the team documents & update them by accommodating changes as and when received and update those changes in the PowerBI report as well
Prepare decks and brief the leadership team about the staffing requirements, monthly metrics & other deliverables on fortnightly calls
Maintain and update the list of team assets, licenses etc as when there is a change in resource requirement
Conduct internal process audit of projects once in a quarter to ascertain if the project team is following the laid down standards and protocols
Develop annual QMO roadmap to keep all stakeholders informed about the activities that’s happening in QMO space

Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, Experience

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Business preferred or equivalent as a PMO
Skills:
Strong numerical and statistical skills with keen eye for details.
Excellent proficiency in power-point & Ms-excel with sound knowledge of complex formulas
Good to have knowledge of Azure DevOps in writing queries, making azure dashboards, viewing test plan and azure boards etc
Understanding of STLC & Agile methodology in software development
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Creative and able to work in a highly dynamic environment ensuring outputs are robust and quality assured
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Good understanding of project management area
Must have knowledge in creating & modelling data in Power-BI and sharing Power-BI reports to stakeholders
Preferred
Past background working in IT related projects or a Computer Science degree
Experience:
Have good exposure to running PMO or similar activities in the experience range of 4-8 years
