Position : Railyard Hostler – Spotter Driver/Groundman – Entry Level Will Train – LPC

Job Description : Employees will train at the entry-level Groundman position for a minimum of two weeks. Groundman are responsible for directing crane operators who are loading and unloading cargo containers from railcar. Groundman are also responsible for preparing railcar for loading and unloading by removing and installing IBC locks. Employees will also be trained in the Hostler Driver position. Drivers perform a variety of tasks, including hauling containers from the rail track to other areas of the intermodal yard for outside driver pickup, moving chassis and containers about the intermodal yard in a safe manner..

Parsec has immediate openings for full time yard drivers/groundmen in the intermodal industry. Must have valid driver’s license. A CDL is
NOT required. Must be able to work nights, weekends, & holidays. Company will train. Required pre-employment background screen and drug test. Health insurance, including dental, vision, 401K, life insurance and other voluntary accident/illness plans along with additional teamster 179 benefits available after probation is completed.

Pay: $18.50 per hour without CDL , pay is $20.00 per hour with CDL Class A
