Position : Receptionist – Hollywood Bowl Museum

Job Description : Welcome visitors and professionally represent the organization at the reception desk of the Hollywood Bowl Museum. Assist with day-to-day functions of the exhibit space with focus on patron visitation during the summer concert season.
Position Elements:
Answer main telephones lines and direct callers
Encourage guest interaction with the exhibition materials and Bowl ephemera
Maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the Museum and its exhibits
Be knowledgeable about current exhibits and Hollywood Bowl history
Process small cash transactions and keep an accurate record of cash on-hand
Keeps track of museum admission numbers
Maintain and stock brochures in the Museum lobby as needed
Maintain museum staff comp ticket pick-up before concerts
Communicate with Operations and Museum Associate and Director about all building issues
Work with Museum Associate and Director to maintain quality and safety of museum
Minimum Requirements

Minimum 3 years administrative support experience in fast-paced environments
Excellent phone manner and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and initiative
Must be dependable
Demonstrable ability to represent the Association in a professional manner both on the phone and in person
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite of products
Classical music and/or museum background a plus
Dedication and commitment to engage in and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the staff, vendors, and within interactions with the surrounding community is a must
Secondary language fluency is a plus
COVID Workplace Safety Requirements
This position will require you to interact with employees, patrons, vendors and others who may or may not be vaccinated or recently tested. You will be required to wear personal protection equipment (PPE) required by the LA County Department of Public Health protocols and the LA Phil. You agree to comply at all times with the LA Phil’s COVID-19 Prevention Plan, including testing and vaccination requirements.
The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association will consider for employment qualified Applicants with Criminal Histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the FCIHO.
