Join our team of highly-skilled engineers to work in a fast-paced, ambitious environment that values innovative problem-solving in an industry in constant evolution. Our middleware engineers collaborate on a day to day basis to design and develop the next generation of APIs for our Guest mobile app.Responsibilities:? Lead software design, prototype, and development of the microservices? Write clean, maintainable code and performing peer code-reviews? Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility? Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules? Establish architectural principles, select design patterns and then mentor team members on their appropriate application? Facilitate and drive communication between mobile engineers and services engineersQualifications:? Back End API Development Microservices, Java, Kotlin, GraphQL? Relational and NoSQL Databases? Managed services, IAAS, PAAS? Application performance tuning (incl. mobile-specific tuning)? Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery? Cloud technology, AWS preferred Route53, ELB, EC2 (incl. reserved instances), S3, RDS, CloudFront, Elasticache, AutoScaling, Lambda, cost optimization? Canary Deployments? Computer Science Fundamentals? Offline support and highly resilient applications, chaos testing? Test Automation? Unit Testing? Monitoring? Site reliability engineering? Application Security? Experience with tools like Jira, Bitbucket, ConfluenceJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSchedule:Day shift
