The CBC team is part of the SAP Product Engineering Intelligent Enterprise & Cross Architecture organization. Our mission is to provide the strategically important central business configuration (CBC) for the Intelligent Enterprise Suite.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Specialist (f/m/d) with a technical and/or architectural background for the product management team for Central Business Configuration. The team focusses on the lifecycle of business configuration, and on onboarding further cloud solutions to Central Business Configuration. CBC manages today the business configuration of S4HC. CBC´s next strategic focus is to provide a generic framework to allow BTP apps to manage business configuration.
In your role, you will drive and manage requirements in the areas of lifecycle, and especially in the area of onboarding of new solutions, currently with a focus on BTP.
You will work together with architects, developers, and stakeholders to collect, create, and analyze requirements with all its strategic, architectural, technical aspects and challenges. You will support the prioritization of requirements according to the strategy and priorities of Central Business Configuration.
To ensure the quality of our product, you will develop test cases, and conduct testing for your requirements. You will also contribute to rollout or the creation of knowledge transfer material. With that, you ensure the delivery of a high-quality software.
ROLE REQUIREMENT
You have a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business economics or similar
Strong analytical, logical, architectural/technical skills and the ability to get fast adopted to new technical topics
Good knowledge of business technology platform (BTP)
Experience in product management, technology consulting, development, or development architecture
Experience in working on technical or architectural topics
Knowledge about cloud principles
Basic Knowledge about cloud native architecture
Very good communication and networking competency, and being a team player
BENEFICIAL
Experience in BTP app development
Experience in continuous delivery processes
