Position : Security Assurance & Compliance

Job Description : Mars Security Assurance & Compliance exists to assess, communicate, and reduce risk to the Business. This requires deep & current expertise in the underlying technology, an up-to-date understanding of the industry & legal mandates, and strong background in securing a global enterprise. This is a role is to evaluate and understand the threat landscape for the Mars Data Security BAU program (Business As Usual) and introduce strategies to increase overall compliance and visibility of risk and gaps in Data Security Compliance.
The role requires a subject matter expert in Data Security and will drive strategy and lead the evolution of the Data Security Compliance for existing and new markets in scope of data security This is a global role and is responsible for program design, standards development and compliance assessments.

What are we looking for?

A strong background managing and implementing information security programs.
Working knowledge of Global Data Privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA etc.
An individual who is able to work autonomously and able to articulate importance of data security compliance and benefits to senior business leaders (CFOs, CIOs), and advise business units on remediation steps to attain & maintain data security compliance.

Advantage but non-essential

Qualification in Data Security / Data Privacy.
Experience managing offshore partners.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Own the Global Data Security Compliance BAU program
Re-evaluate the scope of the periodic asset assessments and align with Mars security standards and policies.
Create the roadmap for Data Security Compliance and deliver improvements to the program.
Deliver new capabilities to ensure the assessments are addressing Data Security risks to Mars, our consumers, pets, and Associates.
Revise stakeholder communications, scorecards, and issue tracking in alignment with the Data Privacy Officer.
