SECURITY TEAM MEMBER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Looking for an independent worker who is willing to take on multiple tasks. Ideal candidate will have basic tech/computer skills, have mechanical/repair abilities, able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time. Customer service and client relations skills are a must! Full time or part time with flexible scheduling available. Benefits available to FT employees after mandatory probationary period.

Responsibilities
1) Patrol entire Ranch community to include construction job sites and private homes as directed in an effort to prevent and detect signs of trespass, damage from the elements or other issues.
2) Answer alarms and investigate disturbances, coordinate with local ERP on all call outs.
3) Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, owners, owner visitors, contractors, suppliers and other persons at both gates, document the same on daily log in tracking sheet. Ensure all contractors and guests are in compliance with the current hang tag system.
4) Write reports of daily activities and all incidents, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, grazing issues, weather incidents, traffic accidents, snow removal issues, road damage, construction site violations, or unusual occurrences.
5) Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, coordinate communication between these agencies ranch management and owners.
6) Respond to all incidents with first aid kit and AED unit. Perform weekly checks on AED units and ensure first aid kit is properly supplied at all times.
7) Receive and respond to all telephone calls, text messages and email messages, answer questions, and provide information to assist on each call or message. Security team member owns each issue brought to their attention until such time as it is above their skill set and they hand it off to the ranch manager or maintenance lead.
8) Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using assistance from Wasatch County Sherriff Department or DNR officer when necessary.
9) Perform daily vehicle inspection on Security vehicle; perform PM as needed, alert ranch manager of any and all vehicle related issues.
10) Perform daily inspections of all WCR buildings and equipment. Document the same, report any and all issues to the ranch manager.
11) Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure all are in good operating order, that recording system is up and running at all times. Inspect weather station and web site camera on regular basis, report all issues to ranch manager.
12) Maintenance projects as assigned.
Chain of Command:
Security team members report to the Ranch Manager and maintain communication with maintenance team, equestrian team, Owner Liaison on a regular basis.
Note:
· All security team members will be required to review, understand and comply with the WCR work standards, rules and regulations along with the material listed in the employee manual.
· Security team work schedule and hours vary greatly and include early morning, late evening, and weekend and holiday hours.
