Position : Senior Accountant
Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Senior Accountant’s responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end closing procedures.The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts as well as past knowledge of working with SAP ERP System.Job Responsibility· Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.· Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.· Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation· Maintaining accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures· Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports· Updating financial records via accounting software· Gathering payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line· Preparing quarterly budget under the purview of senior management· Analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheets· Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.· Monitoring the legal aspects and compliance for the Company to run its day-to-day operations.Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentAbility to commute/relocate:Bhiwandi, Thane – 421302, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Application Question(s):What is your Current Salary & Expected Salary?What is your Excel proficiency on a scale of 1 to 10?Experience:Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
