Position Summary:
Senior Software engineer, who is responsible for the the product development with quality and by following the engineering practices. The candidate should be a team player who should be able to code, and fix defects wherever needed on the project. Contribute to the firmware development, cross platform app development on linux and windows.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct reports
Job Responsibilities:
Uses Agile Scrum Methodology for software development.
Develop and write clear and quality code compliant to a product specification
Develops code for embedded systems needed to support sales of hardware.
Designs, writes and debugs code in C and C++
Develops unit tests for all new code.
Adequately comments all code.
Use Agile Scrum Methodology for software development.
Has all code changes peer reviewed, and must peer review code when required.
Provides input for documentation of new or existing programs.
Performs technical research, monitors current trends and changes in technology.
Interfaces with all departments within company.
Demonstrates industry knowledge to assist in new product development.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Technology
The preferred incumbent in this position must have an expert-level knowledge of Embedded Systems based on different RTOS.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or better in Computer Science or related area, with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Must demonstrate the ability to program in C and C++.
Experience of working on cross platform application development using C++, Qt, native script.
Experience of working on applications on Linux and Windows.
Experience of working on ARM based controllers and Linux will be a plus.
Agile software development experience.
Familiarity with network protocols is a plus.
Experience with Linux device drivers is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously
Must be self starter and a team player
Excellent verbal and written English.
Ability to effectively present information to employees.
Ability to be detail-oriented and effectively document code.
Ability to program in Assembler.
Ability to create an Embedded Linux system from scratch for a particular hardware configuration.
Network programming knowledge including audio networking.

Eligibility Requirements:
Willingness to travel 5% of the time.
Willingness to work in an office in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
