Job Description : About the Role
As a senior Product Security Engineer, you will:
Maintain and instrument our SCA, SAST and DAST platforms, including developing custom rules.
Guide and lead secure design discussions and lead threat modeling sessions.
Work on security tools and automation as well as related actionable metrics to enhance TR’s Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC)
Work on our security paved roads that implement our security guidance and documentation, for which you are a primary contributor.
Participate in our software supply chain security endeavors.
Work closely with our Security Awareness team to provide first class application security interactive and targeted training to our app or cloud engineers.
Set a high standard for engineering quality and execution that leads to high quality product security artifacts.
Review SAST/DAST/SCA scan results and communicate underlying risks to development teams.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior Product Security Engineer if you have:
3+ Years Experience: At least three years of experience in positions related to Application Security, Secure Software Development, and/or Threat Modeling.
Engineer Empathy: You ideally have been an application developer or a SRE in prior lives; you possess a strong understanding of how developers work; you are able to present security initiatives to developers in a way that leverages that understanding.
Knowledgeable in Application Security/Cloud Security: You are passionate about application security including secure coding, supply chain security, and SecDevOps
Drive to continually improve: You are able to analyze current processes and procedures and determine ways to improve and increase efficiency.
Automation/Scripting Experience: You have a background developing and/or implementing automation to bring efficiency and consistency to repeatable tasks and/or processes.
