Position : Senior Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities
Planning, organizing, authoring, editing, and releasing a variety of technical documents for our Cloud-based GUI products.
Creating, updating and maintaining online help documentation within the context of an Agile Development Sprint.
Writing clear and concise documentation from scratch, and within existing documents.
Understanding code, and creating Developer Guides, and API reference material.
Contributing to strategic initiatives around content restructuring, new tool selection, online help, and internal process improvements.
Delivering accurate documentation on time and with a high degree of quality.
Participating in peer reviews.
Skills and Experience
Experience writing common forms of developer documentation such as Developer guides, API guides, configuration/customization guides.
Experience writing feature documentations, user guides, online help, administrator guides, and installation guides for software applications.
Experience using tools like FrameMaker, Confluence, Captivate, MS word, and so on.
Experience in DITA and XML authoring.
Experience working directly with Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
Strong team player with outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable handling multiple deadlines and self-prioritization of ad hoc requests.
4- 8 yrs in a technical writer role, preferable in the software industry.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent work experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
