Job Description : Shipping / Receiving Coordinator
Job Description:
Shipping/Receiving operator performs a variety of packaging functions to Ship/Receive products and materials according to proper handling techniques. Coordinates with common carriers to arrange pickup as well as researches and resolves shipping/Receiving services issues. Computer literate and knowledge in using systems to track multiple shipments may be required. Must have working knowledge of FedEx and UPS ship methods. Ability to process Custom/Performa invoice and other documents.
Responsibilities:

Package and ship scheduled items.
Review and sign off completed travelers prior to returning to QC.
Perform finished goods transaction.
Allocate finished goods to “consignee” or “stock bins”
Review department status report and close all incomplete transitions on a weekly basis.
Purge finished goods that have Six months shelf life on a weekly basis.
Perform physical inventory randomly of “stock and consignee”.
Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures.
Run consignee and stock report daily and verify that scheduled items are released to AQL and/or shipped.
Review outside service items.
Receive and verify ordered materials against PO.
Enter received ordered in ERP system.
Scan and file necessary shipping/receiving documents.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Window operating System with MS Excel and MS word.
Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Experience:

Shipping & Receiving Clerks: 1 year (Preferred)
Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
