Job Description : POSITION TITLE: Social Media Assistant

POSITION PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position will be to support the social media team with all admin needs, research updates, one-sheets, logistics, community management and influencer needs. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, team player, detail-oriented and reliable when it comes to interacting and coordinating with our internal Social Media Team and other departments

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with all social media department logistics such as platform scheduling, copywriting, content calendar reviews, and posting support.
Assist with production of social content shoots, including being on-set for photo and video shoots supporting where necessary.
Assist in content creation.
Assist with social media PR events / activations.
Assist the Social Analyst to gather data and develop reports on social content and campaign performance.
Research and pre-production logistics for scouting locations, influencers, and props for social and video content shoots.
Collect UGC for all GUESS brands using Dash Hudson and Tribe Dynamics.
Support influencer outreach and research in partnership with the PR Team.
Responsible for community management across all GUESS social channels including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter.
Support competitive research for applicable trends and ideas within fashion, retail, tech and social/digital marketing industries.
Assist in administration needs such as invoices, contracts, internal approvals, etc
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 0-2 Years

NATURE OF EXPERIENCE:
Social Media experience preferred, for a brand or for personal
Must have some administrative experience
Experience working collaboratively on creative projects (for school or professional)
SKILLS:
A passion for social media and the fashion industry.
Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities.
Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines.
Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and meet very tight deadlines.
Self-motivated and takes initiative.
Ability to adhere to notes and see projects through to the end
Proficient in: MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Drive
