About the position:
We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Support Specialist to join our CX Social team. This role will be housed in the CX Social department, which is a subdepartment of the Customer Experience team. As a CX Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for responding as Byte on Social platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and review platforms.
The Social Media Specialist will keep a pulse on current company processes, sales, pain points and customer reviews. The right candidate will use a mixture of Customer Service and Social Media management experience to reply to customer inquiries. SMS’s will be a subject matter expert on current trends and know how to use the Byte voice casually and clinically, with the understanding that you will assist many customers at different levels of their purchase points. This role works closely across multiple departments to help navigate concerns, questions, and new sales.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a high volume of inquiries across social platforms, including DM’s, mentions, comments and tags.
Generate and publish engaging content
Assist in optimizing CX Social workflows
Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
Using analytical tools to capture and evaluate relevant social insights, metrics, best practices, and then using the data to monitor and assess the company’s online performance, presence and provide positive future outcomes.
Responsible for collecting, monitoring, assessing, and responding incoming reviews through multiple review platforms (BBB, Consumer Affairs, Consumer Advocate, Best Company, et al).
Provide CX team with opportunities to engage positively with customers to produce positive company reviews.
Collaboration with various departments such as sales, customer relations, paid marketing, and brand to promote brand consistency, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
Skills needed:
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
Demonstrated experience working in a social media or consumer facing roles
Exceptional writing and communication skills
Competence with social networks and a solid understanding of social analytics tools
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to think on your feet and make the right call when addressing hot topics
Keen, customer-oriented with excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and dedication to the team
Fluent in English
BS in Communications, Business, Marketing, New Media, Journalism or Public Relations (Or 4 years of equivalent experience)
2 or more years of social media experience
