Job Brief
At the FSS Platform Engineering team we are looking for experienced Software Architect who has pervious exposure of building SaaS products or applications using the principles of Microservices as an application architectural style. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can make intuitive high-level decisions for software development. You will see the “big picture” and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.
The goal is to provide a framework and develop the required technology components which will accelerate the development of software products.
A day in the role will look like
Architect and design highly scalable, available, secure and elastic solutions that implement industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
Build resilient and cloud ready services based on Micro Services, Multi-tenancy architecture. And own the end-to-end responsibility for the quality of software components.
Participate & oversee applications programming and analysis of projects which include Engineering, research & development, configuration of applications.
Responsible for overall architecture and design of the solution delivered by the team and use best practices for developing, executing high quality code.
Coach developers, testers to deliver the high-quality software. Closely work with and/or lead a highly skilled engineering team to guide, help implement and deliver software components/solutions on time.
Partner with DevOps teams to operationalize the product deliveries
The Skills that you will possess
Technical hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture Style and the related patterns, where software is developed as small and independently deployable services that work together modeled around a business domain.
Working knowledge of architecting and building Microservices using a leading technology stack like Spring / Spring Cloud. Very proficient in Java, RESTful APIs, API Gateway, Microservices communications, RDBMS/NoSQL DB and DevOps methodologies and tools.
Architectural experience throughout the entire software development lifecycle by continuously making critical adjustments to the architecture to ensure desired results.
The required technical and professional expertise
Overall, 12+ years of building SaaS Products/applications using the principles of Microservices based design fundamentals.
Well conversant with DevOps, open-source tech stack, security, scalability, performance tuning of software components and applications.
Good understanding and experience of cloud native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12 factor app principles etc.)
Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Data
Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as DataDog, New Relic, Splunk, etc.
Familiarity/Experience with container technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes etc.
Knowledge on CI/CD tools like Bosh, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git, Concourse is preferred
Experience working on agile development teams (ideally using Scrum or Kanban)
Experience with Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, TeamCity, and other Continuous Integration tools
Educational Qualification that you will have
Preferably BE/ME/BTech/MTech/MSc in computer science or related engineering field or MCA Certification.
