Job Description : 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Equivalent experience to a Bachelor’s degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education
2+ years professional experience in software development
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis

Your role
As a developer in this team you will work with highly talented team of engineers, managers, product owners and designers to build and improve customer facing features like Instant Bank Discount, No Cost EMI and Exchange Discount.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects with significant bottom line impact
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
Instil best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
Operational Excellence – monitoring & operation of production services

On-Call Responsibility
This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every two months. We don’t like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant. When we do get paged, we work together to resolve the root cause so that we don’t get paged for the same issue twice.

Proven result oriented person with a delivery focus
