Position : Software Engineer II – Web/Cloud Testing Automation
Job Description : Required Skills:
B. Tech or B.E in Computer Science, Software Engineering with programming experience
Hands-on experience in software/web application development and testing, specifically C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML 5, CSS, React, Node.js, .Net Core
Experience in testing web APIs and services built with GraphQL, REST
Experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures
Experience in writing automated tests Microsoft Azure Platform
Experience in Azure DevOps, and running automated tests in CI/CT/CD pipeline
Ability to understand the product workflow, design test scenarios, and test cases and automate them
Rich experience in Selenium and other test automation frameworks
Ability to categorize testing requirements into unit tests, integration tests, and operational tests
Ability to study logs from SEQ and App Insights, and draw conclusions to reproduce the user’s steps
Knowledge of Postman and Swagger to use web APIs
Knowledge of performance and scalability test approaches and automation
Knowledge of testing methodologies and security principles applicable to SaaS applications
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills
Desirable Skills:
Self-motivated person with the ability to work individually as well as part of a team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience in 3D CAD application domain is a plus
Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Should be able to collaborate in an open, multi-disciplinary, and globally dispersed team environment
Should be able to independently come up with suggestions/ideas/workflows for complex problems
