Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineering Manager…

In this role, you will:
Manage a team of individual contributor engineers and less experienced engineering managers
Ensure the craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
Engage in mentoring and guiding the professional and technical development of more experienced engineers
Identify and recommend opportunities for developing product functional and technical strategies for the domains, as well as the development of actionable short and long-term product roadmaps, by partnering with business product managers, lead systems architects, and more experienced engineers
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding strategic products of engineering teams to meet business objectives
Oversee engineering teams to deliver commitments aligned to strategic product priorities
Interpret and develop security, stability, and scalability within key areas of technology risk
Collaborate and consult with agile teams and product managers to drive outcomes
Interact directly with third party vendors and technology service providers
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for technology engineering
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications, International:
Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent and Must have 15+ Years of overall experience and proven record of leading and managing a minimum size of 15+ Technology Team members
Hands on Java,J2EE, API or web engineering experience using Spring, spring boot. Should have contributed to the design and build of web applications, APIs , Micro-services, Architecture & Design Patterns & Cloud Platform enablement.
Hands on experience in leading App modernization and cloud adoption efforts are desirable.
Strong hands-on experience of working with and buildout of transformational agile teams for enterprise scale application development.
Technology-oriented, experience managing products with technical complexity and interdependencies.
Ability to deliver and engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural matrix environment by demonstrating co-ownership and accountability in a matrix structure.
Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Should possess Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and with virtual team members.
Work with Product owners to define product road map, grooming of features and plan incremental delivery.
Create accurate project plans, schedules, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Create visibility of technology delivery through reporting / metrics for Wells Fargo leadership.
Strong demonstrated people development skills to hire, coach, develop, and mentor team members.
Ability to deal with ambiguities effectively (Technology, People, Process or Partner).
Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Demonstrated Leadership experience in the past and has in hand experience in dealing with day to engineering problems by work with stake holders at all levels.
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency with Agile and Devops practices and toolchain.
Experience analyzing metrics and articulating data trends.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
