Job Description : FCG is seeking a .NET Technical/Solutions Architect to be responsible for architecting and delivering enterprise applications for our client engagements. This individual will lead a team of developers and collaborate extensively with experienced project managers, user experience specialists, visual designers, analysts, and client resources to build enterprise systems that improve business productivity and support business operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Passionate about software development and clean design, with a strong focus on user experience
Ability to understand business requirements/functional specifications and convert them into solution designs / technical development requirements
Proven good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
Produce detailed technical design documents to match the solution design specifications including database schema, application architecture, and deployment approach.
3+ years’ proven ability to set technical direction and lead onshore/offshore development and QA teams
7+ years’ experience with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in:
Enterprise, multi-threaded and SOA application development
Microsoft .Net Framework including .NET 4.0/4.5, ASP.Net, VB.NET or C#.NET, WCF & WPF, JavaScript, MVC, and WebAPI
Web technologies, including HTTP, XML JSON and REST
MSSQL/Oracle databases, including T-SQL and creation/use of stored procedures, functions and views
Strong knowledge base in Design Patterns
Must have sufficient knowledge in Entity Framework.
Strong working knowledge of Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its appropriate implementation in a wide variety of environments
Proven experience working in fast paced Agile and Scrum environments with established project schedules
Strong background and knowledge of all aspects of software testing – unit, component, regression, functional, systems integration and user acceptance testing
Experience in influencing new business and estimating effort for presales proposals/scopes of work
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Exemplary client service and teamwork skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Solid organizational and time management skills — able to design and execute to project schedules and handle multiple priorities
Experience working in a fast paced and high energy work environment
Participate in internal projects and strategy/planning as required
Experience with designing large, enterprise-focused relational databases, optimizing database structure for performance and/or maintainability, and the ability to design and optimize stored procedures.
Experience with establishing project usage procedures for source control, work item tracking, and build management with Team Foundation Server (or similar).
Deep hands-on knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012, C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC), ADO.Net, jQuery, and CSS.
Strong experience working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
Hands-on experience designing and building scalable web applications, particularly building high frequency and low latency web applications with optimal memory management, performance, and scalability.
Be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
Have a passion for building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices and mentor others on how to do the same.
Possess knowledge of sound business practices and a proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE –
B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred
Microsoft MCSD certified in Web Applications and/or Windows Store Applications
3+ years of relevant experience in professional / consulting services
Experience in managing offshore development teams – cultural familiarity, etc. will be a big plus.
Experience developing pro/con models to compare various technologies to assist teams and business owners in selecting the best fit for a technical solution.
Experience working with an Agile methodology-Scrum usage, design and enterprise patterns, and iterative development; Experience of successfully led and managed technical teams.
