Roles and Responsibility

Job Title : Senior UI/Web Designer
Roles & Responsibilities:
.Brainstorm with the website team and creative colleagues to bring web designs to life from concept to execution
.Work collaboratively with other Designers, Developers, Content strategists, SEO specialists, Marketers and more!
.Creating HTML email newsletters, setup including PSD to HTML conversion, optimizing existing creative, image hosting, image manipulation, creation of landing pages and testing
.Handle the upkeep of existing web initiatives, while implementing and defining new ones
.Conceptualizing creative ideas with external agencies and Management
.Testing and improving the design of the website. Incorporating functionalities and features into websites
.Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices
.Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards
.Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with brand guidelines Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes
.Designing sample pages including colors and fonts
.Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure
.Help select and manage potential external vendors and agencies that provide specializations that go outside the core competencies of the in-house team
Preferred Experience:
.Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools
.Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript
.Good understanding of content management systems
.Good understanding of search engine optimization principles
.Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
.Excellent visual design skills
.Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies
.Creative and open to new ideas
.A naturally human-centric approach to work and life
.A deep (and perhaps borderline uncomfortable?) love for extraordinary web and UX design
.A consideration for all parts of the design experience: from copy to animations, to accessibility
A proven understanding of html, css, and web interactivity principles and their best utilities
Ability to work, think, and respond quickly, while maintaining attention to detail on multiple projects simultaneously
Creative design tools experience (Webflow, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and prototyping tools, such as InVision, Framer, or HTML/CSS/JS)
Track record of designing flows and wireframes with a strong bias towards user-centric design
Video and/or motion graphic experience
Solid understanding of digital production techniques
Familiarity with principles of animation
