Qualifications:
MCA/BTech degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering
Analyze business requirements and map to non-functional specifications
Devise appropriate workload (transaction mix) model based on business requirements
Works with cross functional project teams to define performance metrics and acceptance criteria
Develop suitable test strategy/plan document based on requirements
Hands-on experience developing performance test automation cloud native Microservices based applications, web-based technologies like Spring Boot, Ajax, REACT js and various other modern web technologies
Knowledge of Restful Web Services, WebSockets/JSON, Pivotal Cloud Cache, Kafka based application performance testing and engineering
Excellent knowledge of BlazeMeter/JMeter and one of the industry standard APM tool like AppDynamics
Validates performance test environments and setup monitoring using tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Perfmon, NMON etc.
Execute RESTful services, batch and online jobs performance testing
Analyzes performance test results to pin-point potential bottlenecks
Provide performance tuning recommendations especially around operating systems, Web/App and databases servers to resolve performance bottlenecks
Document Performance Testing Results and Review with the different application stakeholders
Knowledge with scripting, Maven, Atlassian Tool set – JIRA, CI, Jenkins and test reporting tools is required
TDD/ADD and Automation testing with Junit, Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, Jasmin, Karma Runner, BlazeMeter/JMeter
Agile Development experience with SCRUM or similar methodologies
Strong ability to learn and apply new / emerging technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of Maven, CI/CD/Automation Test, Chaos Engineering pipelines
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Passionate about building an innovative culture
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
Experience in financial services industry is preferred but not necessary
