Job Description
Purpose
The Strategic Services Analyst (SSA) is an integral part of the Client Support Team, responsible for ensuring we are delivering exceptional client services as well as going above and beyond for our merchants. The role entails researching and providing analysis on decisioned orders to improve overall quality of Screening Management as a service.
This postholder will also have responsibility for creating and managing training material and upskilling members of the wider order screening team as well as new joiners, communicating changes in merchant’s processes during team meetings or through presentations to smaller groups.
As a first point of escalation, the occupant of this role will be responsible for answering queries from clients seeking further clarification or justification around decisions that have been made, utilising their extensive knowledge and experience of the fraud landscape. This position is to provide primary support to the Spanish merchants.
Principle Responsibilities

Removed from schedules and reviewing incoming orders in Tiers to allow time to focus on project deliveries, however, SSA will be responsible for Running SMART as needed.
Analyze and create reporting on Chargebacks and False Positives, currently including ITX FP, MAS and CB Reports with long term plans for expanding into all top SM Merchants
Liaise with other departments to help our merchant base lower online fraud levels such as QA, MRAs.
Fraud SME for the broader team.
Delivery of MAS/CB Services
Support and Delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs)
Launch Squad- Onboarding of new merchants
Tier Ownership
Queue Management
Managing existing merchant relationship
Create and manage training content and upskilling including Virtual/e-learning training development, podcasts and other inventive ways to train teams

Organizational Scope

Communicate with the global screening management team to discuss fraud trends and activities.
Training and mentoring members of the wider order screening team.
Liaising with internal teams regionally regarding fraud trends, suspect orders and customer queries.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
MUST speak fluent English and Spanish have excellent organization and time management skills, ability to work under pressure with autonomy
Ability to work well in a team environment, explaining complex processes to other team members in a simple and easy to understand manner
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to all levels (executives, reviewers, leadership)
Must be a quick learner, able to pick up new processes and procedures with ease
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, ever changing work environment with multiple priorities
Expert in online fraud and chargebacks
Ability to articulate concepts and ideas to a broader audience, sometimes on a global level
A self-starter who is able to work autonomously in the role

Preferred Qualifications

3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Experience working in an office environment
Graduate Calibre or equivalent

Flex Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
