Job Description : Position Summary

The Study Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and completion of day to day administrative and technical activities involved in multiple studies being conducted primarily in collaboration with academic partners including, but not limited to, researchers from the Northwestern University, University of Illinois Chicago, University of Chicago and other partners.

This position will ensure that all study activities are completed by strictly following Good Clinical Practices (GCP) & all relevant current local, state, & federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy & procedure developed by Institutional Review Boards (IRB), Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), & the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH).

What You Will Do

Participate in the planning & conduct of research studies (end-to-end clinical trial workflow)
In collaboration with site principal investigator, serves as primary liaison for study team between ACCESS and the academic partner, assisting with administrative responsibilities, meetings, set up of internal processes and workflows for successful conduct of studies.
Drafts and executes communication about the study internally and for reporting to internal and external stakeholders in collaboration with the site PI.
Publish and present findings from the research at local and national forums
Assists with submitting and auditing expenses related to the conduct of the study

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in social or health sciences
Minimum two (2) years clinical trial or study coordination
Must complete CITI training before interacting with any participants & must re-certify every 3 years
Advanced proficiency w MS Office including Excel and Word, intermediate proficiency in databases, REDCap or other data collection software, Epic required
Organizational skills; strong attention to detail; priority management
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in social or health sciences
Fluent in English. Spanish fluency preferred
