Job Description : Job Title: Supply Planner
This position will be responsible to manage the implementation of material planning, material procurement, inventory control, backlog order tracking, customer On Time Delivery, Material availability. This person will supervise the execution and follow up with policies, procedures, and material control systems. This person will identify and solve problems in and out of immediate work area and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. This position will be accountable for building up the functional excellence to reach business objectives. This position will also lead project teams within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Organize the Supply Review with CS and Sales team.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies
Work with the Demand planner to provide factory forecast for 12 to 18 months
Maintain relationships with suppliers and analyze supplier performance
Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc.
Assist in forecasting to plan future orders
Able to execute P2P cycle
Engage in new product introduction (NPI) activities
Support to control freight cost
Determine and achieve key supply chain KPIs
Annual cost and Inventory reduction
Resolve issues in material shipments
Support part creation with correct attributes.
YOU MUST HAVE
B.Tech / Engineering Graduate or similar relevant field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in SCM / Procurement / Materials / Planning function or any relevant functional experience
Proven experience in procurement

Knowledge in Lean practice
Understanding of forecasting and budgeting
Working knowledge of SAP MM
