Job Description
This Support Center team serves as the intake function for all documented requests and begins the systematic workflow to get the requests to the appropriate team for processing. The organization as a whole is focused on delivering exceptional customer service and results in a timely, high quality and accurate manner while ensuring adherence to internal controls. The Payroll Department is part of the Finance Team within McDonald’s Global Business Services organization. Global Business Services (GBS) provides full hire-to-retire services such as onboarding, payroll, and benefits processing for over 80,000 employees located in the US and Canada. GBS is committed to delivering 100% Customer Satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
Incoming Mail: Facilitate inbound and outbound mailing process including opening, sorting, and preparing mail for scanning such as payroll forms, invoices, and checks. Research of misdirected mail and ensure proper processing to correct location. Endorse and prepare incoming checks for deposit and scanning. Upkeep mail inventory and work with supervisor to order supplies as needed.
Automated Employee Letters: Process and mail letters generated from our automated systems. Teamwork: Must have Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively with multiple teams to ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines are met.
Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of office experience
1+ year(s) of customer service experience in a professional/business setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Some College preferred
Data entry processing experience preferred, but not required
Excellent data entry skills with high level of accuracy
Strong problem solving, organizational, analytical and customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to get results in a fast paced environment
Ability to work individually and cooperatively as a member of a team
Ability to manage conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines
Aptitude towards technology and applications including Microsoft Office
Ad Hoc projects as needed
