A Day in the Life of the Support Product OwnerThis role will own the support process for both the Travel Commerce and Loyalty teams. This position will collaborate with development teams, customers, Accenture SUS, and other stakeholders to identify and provide solutions for complex customer issues. This role calls for technical, functional, and business understanding of the supported products. This person will be the main point of contact for all customer support issues for the Travel Commerce and Loyalty products.
Responsibilities include:
Triage customer support issues for severity and customer impact
Problem-solve and troubleshoot issues, including remoting into customer environments
Run daily support team stand-up meetings
Collaborate with support team resources across multiple time zones
Understand how customers are using our products
Provide proactive and frequent communications to customers and internal stakeholders regarding progress and expected timelines for resolution
Log updates in designated support ticket systems
Perform regular ticket analysis of recurring issues
Perform product validation testing of functionality
Develop support team performance metrics
Qualifications of the Support Product Owner
Bachelor’s Degree or above preferred
Experience using SQL to view database data
Experience reading JSON, XML, or other API specifications
Experience locating and parsing system logs and system performance artifacts
Experience remoting into customer environments
Experience with the application of software development methodologies (agile, scrum, etc.)
Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Be able to effectively communicate functional capabilities of software products
Ability to work directly with customers, developers, and other stakeholders on-site and off-site
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
