5 + Years of relevant experience.
Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics on computers.
Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, firewalls, switches, DHCP, VPN, IP voice services to maximise network efficiency and security.
Monitor and troubleshoot production problems per operations processes, affecting the network infrastructure.
Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.
Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
Enforcing client based policies to secure all computers available in the production.
Creation of documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation.
Follow company IT policy and tools to carry on day to day jobs.
Processing the queue of managed support tickets
Must have knowledge of Wireless technologies, virtualization, AWS and other cloud based technologies.
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships. A self-motivated attitude.
Ready to assist and guide other members of the team.
