Your Role and Responsibilities
Should be able to perform installations & upgrades as needed in LINUX and AIX OS.
Setup, configured, and debugged network configurations for RedHat servers.
Should be able to install and troubleshoot AV installation in LINUX platform.
Diagnosed and resolved hardware problems, workstations, and other hardware equipment
Provided 24/7 technical support and resolution to operators’ requests concerning system hardware, software, and network issues
Documented procedures and helped develop guides to aid in the troubleshooting of software and hardware systems and configurations
Monitored and maintained system performance goals
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
System administer installs configures and supports systems running Solaris,RedHat, with Veritas volume manager.
Analyzes and resolves problems with the Operating system, Hardware, applications and software.
The administrator will monitor the system performance and ensures compliance with the security standards.
Troubleshoot server errors, respond to user issues, and monitor the performance of the network.
Should possess knowledge on OS patching , H/W and Software upgrades.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills,Quick Learner, Working experience in LINUX /AIX
