Home to eight dining venues, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort has plenty of dining options including an all-day dining venue, two signature restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar, a pool and beach bar and a sports lounge. Guests are welcome to explore the 400 meter public beach and three swimming pools.

About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join our Guest Relations Department in Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
To prepare the daily VIP arrivals list to ensure the correct rooms are allocated for VIP guests depending on their demands and Guest History feedbacks.
To order and ensure timely delivery of amenities for all arrival and in-house VIP and Suite guests.
To spot-check the delivery of daily amenities of in house VIP guests
To check the rooms of all top VIP guests prior to their arrival at the hotel
To liaise with Transportation the airport pick-up timings to ensure all guests arriving with our Hotel cars are being met upon arrival by our Guest Relations Team.
To liaise with Transportation for the airport drop off timings in order to ensure all VIP guests are escorted upon departure to our Hotel car.
To escort top VIP guests to their rooms on arrival.
To ensure preparation of welcome letters for all VIP arrivals and placed in the rooms together with the amenities prior to their arrival.
To ensure that allocated rooms/suites, room keys and registration documents are ready for VIP guests prior to their anticipated arrival at the hotel.
To liaise with the ‘whoever in charge of room allocations’ or Duty Manager regarding room allocations and room changes for VIP guests.
To ensure that the Guest Preferences are collected and the received information is updated accordingly in the guest profile in the Front Office PMS system (Opera).
About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Degree qualification from a recognized hotel or business school
Proficiency in spoken and written business English.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
At least 2-3 years experience in a Guest Relations role
Multilinguel will be an advantage
