The Cloud and Network Services business group is a growth engine for Nokia. Our focus is to create value for both service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models as demand for critical networks accelerates.
The Core Networks Engineering unit is responsible for providing a universal, adaptive and unbreakable Core portfolio excelling in innovation, quality and cost structure. CN Engineering is driving a leading market position in areas including, but not limited to, 3G Core, IMS / VoLTE, SDM and Cloud Native. A close cooperation with the other Business units from Cloud and Network Services is a key success factor in implementing the leadership aspiration.

What you will learn and contribute to
Information Design is the design, planning, coordination, writing, and illustrating of technical documentation for software product and system programs. It involves the planning, development, writing, and editing of operational and maintenance information about products, systems, processes, procedures, and solutions. These appear as publications for internal and external users in various forms of multi-media.

As part of our team, you will::

Research content and audience information, interview subject matter experts
Have experience with cross-site collaboration for content development.
Autonomously perform tasks with a moderate level of guidance and within guidelines and policies to meet expected standards of quality and delivery.
Analyse factual information and possible solutions, make recommendations.
Solve a range of straight-forward problems through knowledge and professional experience.
Support transfer of concepts for the professional direction of own organisational unit into actionable measures.
Provide informal guidance and support to new team members with regard to the procedures to follow and the specific tasks required to perform the job effectively.
Keen customer focus.
Contribute to innovation, quality, learning, and other initiatives and workgroups.
Contribute to standards, conventions, tools, and processes.
Contribute to extended organizational goals and activities as required.
Meet or exceed quality standards for information products.
Your skills and experience
Graduate degree in Engineering or Science, with related experience in telecommunications, networking, information technology, or technical writing.
Up to 5 years of experience in the field of technical writing.
Good command of the English language, written and spoken, with good attention for detail.
Knowledge of XML authoring editors (Oxygen) and graphic tools.
Understanding of basic scripting concepts.
Understanding of single-sourcing and content management systems (Git)
Knowledge of structured writing principles with a flair for simplifying complex information.
Good understanding of the software and documentation development life cycles.
