Job Description : The primary responsibility of the Remarketing organization is to ensure a smooth ownership transfer process for Tesla customers who trade-in vehicles to offset the purchase of a new/used Tesla.
As a Title Specialist, you are directly responsible for quickly transacting all trade-in documentation and titles received throughout the US. Tasks include opening and checking in all mail, conducting detailed audits of documents received, reassigning vehicle titles in compliance with state and/or buyer requirements, and securely mailing out all titles on a daily basis. For any titles that cannot be immediately transacted, the Title Specialist identifies the issue/resolution and creates a case to track progress.
We are looking for a team member who shines in an administrative role and comes to work each day with a positive attitude. You learn fast, take direction well, maintain a hyper-focused workflow, and are highly organized. Title Specialists are the very core of the team and keep the entire trade-in and used vehicle business turning.
Responsibilities

Open and check-in all mail types
Review executed trade-in documentation and flag issues blocking title assignment via a case management tool
Analyze improperly executed documentation and specify required resolutions in order to quickly transfer ownership
Reassign titles varying in complexity from all US states and territories
Organize and maintain a filing system
Record and mail out titles and documentation to appropriate buyers
Quickly become an expert in the vehicle title transfer process in all states and understand solutions available to overcome blockers in the process
Request checks as needed for title applications
Review, complete, and submit applications for titles as needed with state DMVs

Requirements

2+ years of professional office experience, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Prior experience in an administrative role, dealership, or work with vehicle titles preferred
Strongly detail-oriented and organized
Intermediate experience with Excel, Outlook, and Word
Notary Designation is highly preferred, but not required
