Position : Tour & Admissions Specialist

Job Description : Valor Preparatory Academy is currently seeking an Early Education Tour & Admissions Specialist to join our growing team! A minimum of two years tour guide experience is preferred. We are seeking a friendly professional to provide our clients (parents and students) with an exceptional experience while visiting our campuses. In this role you will be responsible for the marketing, advising, and admitting efforts for each of our grade levels PreK-2. Services may include enrollment services, new student recruitment, community outreach, public information, and program specific promotional events.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists with the development and implementation of program specific marketing and recruitment strategies. Attends career fairs and health fairs to market and recruit for assigned program(s). Plans and coordinates informational workshops, campus visitations and tours, business and industry visits, etc., to inform the public about educational opportunities within our school. Creates and distributes brochures, promotional fliers, and related material.
Coordinates program admissions services. Works with program(s) to interpret policies and to develop appropriate procedures for implementation.
May coordinate directed practice for participating programs. Processes paperwork, maintains contracts, and coordinates student insurance requirements.
Maintains database for assigned programs. Tracks statistics, gathers data, and writes reports. Assists departments in developing, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures relating to admissions based on past processes and student success rates.
Provides office coordination responsibilities. Works with office support staff in coordinating all clerical and student help. Oversees day-to-day issues.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Demonstrated organizational skills in handling, directing, and prioritizing multiple and complex assignments/projects and maintaining records.
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with students, fellow employees and the public.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; and effectively present information to top management, public groups, and other groups.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to perform and excel in a high-tech all-digital environment.
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and extensive confidential data.
Problem solving skills and the ability to lead, instruct, handle a large variety of details and to work with all levels of organization.
Proficient in the use of e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software and use of the Internet to access data, maintain records, generate reports, and communicate with others

Qualifications:

At least an Associates’ degree in education field, student services, or other related field.
Demonstrated experience in education or admissions related environment. Experience in customer oriented or student-centered experience advising preferably in an academic environment. Experience in public speaking, educational marketing and recruitment. Strong organizational skills with experience in program coordination and/or office management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
