Position Summary
We are looking for an entry-level trader to join our trading team! The ideal candidate will demonstrate aptitude and willingness to develop current skills while learning new ones. Self-motivation and willingness to always be in improving is a must. At Wolverine, we pride ourselves on fostering a collegial environment that encourages creative thinking through informal discussions. Our flat structure allows you to obtain quick feedback and gives you the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Familiarity with Python and/or SQL.
Quantitative background in math, statistics, engineering, or economics preferred.
Demonstrated interest in trading.
Excellent math aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter that can resourcefully solve problems.
Desire to work in a team setting but can still think and work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively while under pressure.
Learns new concepts quickly.
Self-motivated, adaptable.
Has demonstrated the ability to use good judgment.
Ability to react calmly and quickly in an electronic trading environment.
Maintains integrity at all times.
Capable of maintaining focus with a strong drive for success.
Ability to work on a competitive team.
Mental discipline and ability to solve problems under pressure.
Can adapt to changing situations with ease.
No prior industry experience is required but is a plus.
