As a a UX Research Associate, you will support the entire research process, collaborating closely with UX Researchers and cross-functional counterparts in Product Management, Design, Marketing, and Engineering to influence key strategy and execution decisions. You will help define future features and products as you spearhead a human-centered decision-making process and develop the most useful and usable product experiences for a global audience.

The right candidates will be an excellent communicator, knowledgeable about a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, operationally savvy, passionate about technology, short form video and social networks, and excited to collaborate and motivated to build a video-sharing platform for all.

Responsibilities:

You will collaborate with design, product management, marketing, operations, legal, analytics and data science to influence product design and innovation.
Partner with UX Researchers to support generative, iterative, and evaluative research to provide feedback on concepts, designs, and the end-to-end user experience.
Define and support processes to scale participant recruitment, data collection, internal review processes, and vendor relations.
Share findings to diverse audiences through written reports, in-person presentations, and creative design tools and assets for product stakeholders to use.
Present research findings and strong recommendations to key stakeholders based globally.

Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, related field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with a variety of qualitative and/or quantitative methods, which may include interviews, surveys, ideation sessions, ethnographic field research, usability evaluation, statistical modeling, and diary studies.
Experience working with process design, especially within a technically- or operationally- complex environment.
Effective interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to support multiple projects.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
Design thinking methods, co-design sessions, and facilitation skills.
Experience with international research and/or fluency in more than one language a plus!
Strong interest in social media, user and influencer behavior, and associated trends
