Job Description : The Role
Store Based VM person The goal is to use visual merchandising to convert window shoppers and store browsers into prospects, drive branding, sales objectives and maximise profitability. As part of the store set up team, the visual merchandiser shall implement and put in place impeccable standards on all matters visible and creative within our multi category fashion and lifestyle environment. Reporting to the operations manager the VM will maintain the signature look and feel of the whole selling space -a passionate interest in fashion and lifestyle is vital. The successful candidate shall be involved in every aspect of developing extraordinary creative visual merchandising throughout all areas of the store from fashion, food/beverage and lifestyle categories, from the way products look to how new ones are launched, mannequin styling to planning and implementing floor and shop window layouts following unique and elite standards throughout. The candidate will already have strong creative streak and a keen eye for detail, be resilient, flexible, self-motivated, and know precisely how to inspire, collaborate, and influence in their own field. Key Performance Indications (KPI’s) • Maximize customer traffic by producing exciting product presentation and displays • Create for approval and thereafter implement a detailed VM specific SOP • Present a seasonal visual plan for the store in advance of any given season • Control costs for VM as set by operations manager, keeping to a set budget • Control a precise VM Calendar and brand partner diary • Person responsible for signage and way finding implementation 100% accuracy • Identify and source props, fabrics, hardware, and creative lighting. • Maintain the set budget by negotiating with suppliers of visual material to minimalize costs • Complete displays according to deadlines • Assemble or dismantle visual displays in windows or in-store and in the studio on time without damage • Ensure all floor equipment is maintained

Requirements
Requirements • Proven work experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Visual Manager • Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio • Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays, and space utilisation • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools • Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices • Proficiency in MS Office • Creative and innovative thinker • Ability to analyse sales merchandising reports and survey results • BS degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications or similar Team • Be part a positive and enjoyable work environment • Be part of a team that exceeds expectations • Participate in meetings to motivate yourself and others • Work with colleagues in the marketing team, floor supervisors, maintenance/cleaning, and stock movement to support events and guest speakers Personal • Grooming/dress code is professional and suitable style for the environment we work. • Smile!
