Job Description : Job Overview: The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Warehouse Supervisor with receiving, delivery, shipping, and inventory duties. Must ensure pallet load accuracy, and all paperwork is completed accurately. This position must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensure boxes are accurately placed on correct pallet with correct packing slip.
Complete all required paperwork accurately, legibly, and timely – double check all paperwork, such as chain of custody and labels.
Must have excellent organizational and counting skills.
Attention to detail is essential.
Complete housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), such as sweep, mop, and dust.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as assigned.
Ability to learn processes, follow instructions, and exchange accurate information.
Maintain an orderly and clean work environment per GMP practices and internal expectations.
Must be able to communicate with co-workers and management in a professional manner.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
Maintain an orderly, and clean warehouse.
Follow and ensure that all safety rules, regulatory requirements, and company processes and procedures are adhered to.
Report to assigned workstation and be ready to work at the start of the scheduled shift.
Qualifications:
Education: GED or High School Diploma.
Experience: Warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
Specific Skills: Ability to lean processes, follow instructions, and exchange accurate information.
Characteristics: Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
Schedule: Generally, Monday through Thursday; 10-hour shift; 5am to 3:30pm; OT may be required
License/Cert: Food Handlers Permit. Company provided.
Physical / Environment:
Work is performed in a manufacturing / warehouse environment.
Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 20 lbs. on and off a pallet.
Frequently ascends / descends ladders.
Frequently operates a pallet jack.
Dress code is in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, bend, climb.
Must be able to detect, observe and recognize safety hazards.
Must wear PPE in certain work areas.
All Uintah Basin Herbals business documents, work related training, business related communication, safety policies and emergency related plans are in English.
All offers of employment will be contingent upon:
· Satisfactory results of a drug test. If a pre-employment drug test indicates illegal drug use, the applicant will not be eligible for employment at UBH.
· All offers of employment for all positions will be contingent upon satisfactory results of a criminal background screen.
· Signed Non-Disclosure and Non-Compete Agreement.
