Job Description : Who We Are:
*Fox School of Wine exists to deliver fun, tasting opportunities, and wine education. The guests on our famous Mines & Wines tours find an upbeat and playful atmosphere, listen to stories and education, and of course enjoy food pairings and wine. We believe in having fun whether you are a student or part of our faculty!*
*Whom We’re Looking For:**We are seeking an engaging storyteller and/or entertainer to be our next Mines & Wines Tour Guide. You must be over the age of 21, and be able to work a flexible schedule. Tour Guides lead tours ranging from 12 to 40 students, with six stops utilizing a luxury vehicle. Tour Guides have assistants on each tour who aid in helping students and in pouring wine. Tour Guides can expect walking approximately 200 yards, lifting up to 40-pound wine cases or coolers, and conducting outdoor tours regardless of the weather.**This position is part time, and pays between $45 – $65/hr depending on experience and skill.
TIPS certification is reimbursable up to $25 for all employees. Tours are located in Park City, UT. Tour Guides must have reliable transportation, and are able to meet the physical requirements described.**The schedule varies and can range from one to ten tours a month. Tour Guides provide their availability for the upcoming tours, and are not required to make themselves available for all tours.*

Upbeat and engaging personality
Ability to convey great stories
Wine knowledge, or willingness to learn
Ability to memorize and recite facts relating to the tours
Fluent in English
Flexible schedule
Excellent and responsive communication skills
Public speaking experience (or comfortable speaking in public)
Team player
Punctual
Hospitality mindset (preferred hospitality background)
Basic computer skills including email
**Tour Guide Responsibilities:**
Greet and help students to feel connected throughout the tour
Convey entertaining and intriguing stories about both the mining history in Park City and the wines being served on the tour
Answer questions and concerns expressed by the students in a professional and upbeat manner
Communicate – via email, and if urgent, text – in a timely fashion with the headmistress and faculty members
