Position : A/R Representative
Job Description : Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for working with daily edits for professional billing. Responsible for the Charge Description Master updates, changes, and deletions.
Essential Functions
Contacts primary payors by telephone and/or written correspondence in an effort to determine the status of the account and the date of expected payment. Obtains and submits any necessary information requested by the insurance company for payment. Verifies that all accounts are in the proper financial class designation. Responds to all inquiries on patient accounts assigned. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
