Job Description : As part of the Host Healthcare Client Sales team, the Account Manager collaborates with the recruitment and operations teams to drive successful placements of clinicians on assignment across multiple healthcare specialties and clients. Account Managers develop strong relationships with client accounts nationwide and expand and grow existing client accounts through active sales outreach efforts with clinical hiring managers. Clients include health systems, acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health organizations and more.
The successful Account Manager is self-motivated, with a demonstrated passion for sales and strong desire to meet or exceed sales goals. He or she is a creative, energetic individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills and professional demeanor and maturity. The Account Manager maintains a positive outlook and serves as a positive influence within the team. He or she is also well-organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has a thorough understanding of the healthcare staffing industry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Consistently meets and/or exceeds sales goals. Actively reaches out to develop strong relationships and networks within existing clients to grow available job orders. Utilizes cold calling and sales strategies to win additional contracts and job orders. Collaborates with Business Development to design and implement strategic plans for clients sales nationwide.
Actively engages with the recruitment team to encourage and drive candidate submissions to meet client demand. Educates recruitment team of client needs and is responsive to recruiter inquiries.
Has deep understanding of client preferences and requirements. Pre-screens all candidate profiles submitted by recruiters to ensure candidates meet the clinical requirements of the client. Knows when to “push the envelope” to submit qualified candidates while still maintaining positive client relationships. Proactively resolves service issues that arise.
Follows up daily with clients on active candidate submissions to ensure they move rapidly through the hiring process. Ensures interviews are scheduled and solicits offers and extensions on behalf of candidates.
Accurately enters all sales and placement activity into the Host Healthcare database.
Provide daily and weekly reports summarizing activities and accomplishments.
Qualifications:
5+ years of proven account management experience with a successful track record of growing client accounts; healthcare staffing, healthcare, or staffing industry experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communications. Able to negotiate, trouble-shoot and problem-solve collaboratively with clients and internal team members.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Able to maintain an organized, well-run sales desk and meet required turnaround times. Comfortable within a fast-paced work environment.
High comfort level operating within technology platforms, including Target Recruit and vendor management systems.
Able to occasionally travel to visit with prospective and/or key clients.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
