Position : Admin Assistant / Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description : The selected candidate will support activities related to shipping, receiving the flow of material, parts and assemblies and the movement or transportation of material. Will be responsible for recording equipment serial numbers, model numbers and receipt date into a multiple databases. The selected candidate performs a variety of warehousing duties which requires an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan. Duties and responsibilities include:

Coordinate the delivery of supplies and equipment to departments and customers by receiving and transferring items.
Verify materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damage.
Ordering and/or recording equipment serial numbers, model numbers and receipt date into multiple database tracking systems.
Ability to ship and receive HAZMAT items.
Will be required to access multiple BAE and government electronic sites in the performance of their duties.
Assist in maintaining storage areas.
Assist in maintaining inventory using assigned database programs and conducting required physical counts and reconciling variances.
Ability to communicate effectively with the customer.
Inventory, track and maintain government property in multiple databases.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School diploma (or equivalent)
One year of related experience
Ability to communicate and interact with the employees and customers at all levels.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

High School Diploma
2 years of related experience
Experience with government, military or government contract work.
Experience with BAE Systems Field Service support.
