Job Description : The USC Keck School of Medicine – Alzheimer Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI), located in San Diego, California is an academic institute committed to advancing the development of new treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) through the design and conduct of innovative clinical trials.
ATRI is looking for an Administrative Assistant that will provide administrative support to senior management and staff at the ATRI. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Reconcile Staff and Faculty Travel Reimbursements
Create and manage purchases through a Purchase Order or Business card
Submit and track Invoices for payment
Establish and maintain office filing systems
Maintain and up-date administrative databases, compile data, create reports, and distribute information among ATRI management
Provide support for event coordination of meetings and conferences
Assists in maintaining office equipment and supplies
Will act as back-up to the receptionist as needed
Other Administrative duties as needed
The Administrative Assistant will be required to independently analyze, organize and prioritize daily support activities as well as review, evaluate and rank all requests and communications to Sr. Management. Using tact, organizational skills, flexibility, and discretion, participate in special projects as assigned and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the day-to-day activities of the Institute.
Location: San Diego, CA
Salary is dependent on experience and education.
Minimum Education: Associate’s degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 2 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Secretarial or specialized clerical, including some administrative experience.
