Position Summary:
The primary job responsibility of the Administrative Assistant is to perform clerical work with minor administrative and business detail by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant may be assigned one or more duties. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Complete filing and clerical tasks as assigned.
Responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Reads and routes incoming mail.
Compile, compose and type memos, routine correspondence, statistical reports and other documents.
Schedule appointments and inter-office meetings for managers.
Greet visitors when required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a large diverse population.
Collect employment applications.
Make copies of correspondence and /or other printed material
Fax documents as required.
Prepare outgoing mail.
Assist in coordinating and facilitating company functions.
Collect and prepare all materials for communication to all employees.
Attend and participate in meetings and/or training as scheduled or as directed.
Additional Duties:
The Administrative Assistant may be assigned one or more additional duties. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform other job related duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. The individual in this position must possess the following qualifications:
Minimum of two years’ experience in office setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, teams, managers, supervisors, and external customers. Excellent ability to communicate and work cohesively across Department lines.
Computer competency including proficiency with Microsoft Suite, and understanding of database programs.
Typing wpm 40 (minimum).
Ability to consistently deliver outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.
Highly dependable and ability to meet internal deadlines consistently.
Strong organization skills and attentiveness to detail.
Flexible and adaptable, willing and able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Ability to work independently as well as in groups.
Ability to maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times.
Education Requirements: The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
