Our company is expanding and we are currently seeking a detailed Administrative Assistant to join our team.
As a Hanna Administrative Assistant, you must be eager to learn how processes work and be motivated to fix them when they don’t. Our Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:

Completing requests for information from both departmental and organizational staff.
Following organizational and departmental rules and guidelines.
Organizing, composing, and producing letters, memoranda, reports, and other documents, ensuring grammar, spelling, and punctuation are correct. Generate and submit necessary reports.
Sorting and distributing incoming email and mail, and prepare outgoing mail
Extensive data entry with a high level of accuracy
Inbound and outbound phone calls, emailing, faxing, filing
Timely follow-up on all pending issues
Ensuring prompt, accurate, and efficient handling of documents for filing and scanning
Knowledge and use of grammar, spelling, punctuation and word definitions. Communicate in a positive manner, both verbally and in writing.
Able to critically think through situations or circumstances that will allow you to work independently. Ability to resolve problems quickly and objectively.
Perform other duties as assigned.

If you’re the Administrative Assistant we’re looking for, YOU…:

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree (AA Degree and/or comparable work experience accepted)
Are proficient with software applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote and Gmail. Working knowledge of computer language and functionality.
Possess 2 years’ of data entry experience and/or administrative experience preferred
Have a strong work ethic reflecting accountability, responsiveness, and commitment to Hanna Interpreting Services’ mission and vision
Have excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and strong communication skills

This job operates in a business casual environment. Or better yet – we have fun, but we get the job done. Our group is made up of positive, passionate, and persistent people who all believe in the company mission to make the world more inclusive through language and technology. We currently have about 15 team members working in the office, and 40-or-so team members working from home. Prior to COVID-19, we would regularly get together after-hours for hang outs, company parties, and volunteer events. We are looking forward to resuming those activities in the near future. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
